Obituary for QUENTIN W. GILL

Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 16, 2006 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Tom Stribling, pastor of United Methodist Church of Happy, officiating. Quentin W. Gill was born on August 9, 1919 in Miami, Texas to Henry Thomas and Eva Mae Gill. He married Sibyl Williams in Texas City, Texas on March 29, 1947. She preceded him in death on May 7, 2005. He was a veteran of WWII and retired from Pantex after many years of farming west of Happy where they lived for 45 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge in Happy and the United Methodist Church of Happy. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Survivors include; his son, Henry A. Gill and wife, Jean of Denton, Texas; daughter, Shirley L. Baker and husband, Rusty of Canyon; two grandchildren, Michael Baker and wife, Katy of Frisco, TX, and Randy Gill and wife, Jamie of Carrollton, TX; and two great grandchildren, Sydney Baker of Frisco, TX, and Henry Gill, II of Carrollton, TX. The family suggests memorials be to the United Methodist Church of Happy, PO Box 56, Happy, Texas 79042
