Obituary for Piper Marie Pevehouse

Piper Marie Pevehouse was born February 18, 2005, in Hale County, Texas. She passed from this life at the age of 17 on Sunday, July 24, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Central Church of Christ. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 A.M at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Piper was an incoming senior at Randall High School. She was proud of earning her first paycheck from Whataburger where she recently began working. Piper was an avid reader. Even while on vacation in Red River or going to the swimming pool, you would find her reading instead of playing. In her happiest moods, she would be skipping all over campus. She was full of life. She could often be found dancing to her favorite Meow Cat music box. Piper enjoyed going to Camp Blue Haven every summer and she loved all things Japanese, Anime, and certain delicious foods.

Piper was a daddy's girl; she would light up when he would call or come pick her up for visits. Danny always put his daughter first and made sure she had what she needed and a lot of just what she wanted. They had the closest of bonds.

Piper was a resident of High Plains Children's Home for 6 years and 9 months. She was the sweetheart of the campus. Piper was loved and will be dearly missed by the children and staff of High Plains Children's Home.

Survivors include her father, Danny Pevehouse.
