Obituary for Phyllis Jobe

Phyllis Jobe, 62, of Amarillo, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021. Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon with Kevin Clowe officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Brooks Chapel.

Phyllis was born on November 12, 1958 in Altus, Oklahoma to Bill and Gayle (Penington) Bilbrey. She accepted Christ when she was nine years old in Larned, KS. She was a graduate of Kansas State University and proudly wore her purple. Phyllis married Keith Jobe in Canyon on February 22, 1992. She was a Certified Recreational Therapist and dearly loved her job and the people it allowed her to work with. Her family was her greatest love, and her favorite hobby was being with her five grandsons.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her husband, Keith Jobe of Amarillo; two sons, Casey Jobe (U.S. Army Veteran) and wife, Jenny (U.S. Air Force) of Warrensburg, MO and Kevin Jobe (U.S. Army Veteran) and wife, Brittany of Canyon; her daughter, Leigh Ann Jobe of Amarillo; her mother, Gayle Bilbrey of Amarillo; five grandsons, Trevor Jobe, Logan Jobe, Wyatt Jobe, Daytin Stevens, and Weston Jobe; and two brothers, Kirk Bilbrey of Louisville, KY and Kris Bilbrey and wife, Nikki of Edmond, OK.
