Obituary for Peggy Ann Bullard

Peggy Ann Everhart Bullard, 84, of Canyon, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022. Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Brooks Chapel with Darren Dye, pastor of Freedom Fellowship Church, officiating.

Peggy was born on March 8, 1938 in Quitaque, Texas to Willie and Clara (Dunavant) Everhart. She graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1956. Peggy and Bill J. Bullard eloped on October 12, 1956 to Tucumcari, NM. They moved to Canyon from Amarillo in 1973. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2007.

Peggy worked as cafeteria manager at Rex Reeves/Oscar Hinger Elementary School for 15 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Canyon, where she was active in the Quilting Club. Peggy enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafts, baking and cooking. She was an avid dog lover and loved to travel and have coffee with friends.

Peggy is also preceded in death by her father who was killed in action during WWII, her mother, and her brother, Billy Ray Everhart. Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Aaron and husband, Kurt; two sons, Bryan Bullard and wife, Joann, and Randy Bullard and wife, Dana; grandchildren, Aaron Duncan and wife, Kristen, Adam Duncan and wife, JeremeeĀ“, Alyssa Overbay and husband, Murphy, Bri Heitman and husband, Cody, Paul Bullard, and John, Dani, and Josh Bullard; great grandchildren, Callum, Asher, Andrew, and Owen Duncan, Logan and Beretta Duncan, Isabelle Overbay, and Ryan and Robin Heitman.
