Patricia Ann Love died, on October 16, 2019 in Amarillo, Texas. Patty was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 12, 1943 the daughter of Edith Lucille Maher Kilgour.  She was raised in Chicago and spent her summers with her grandparents Ralph and Margaret Maher on their family farm in Assumption, Illinois. She graduated from Tuley High School in Chicago. Patty married the love of her life Larry Lynn Love at Maternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Chicago in July 1960.  Patty and Larry raised their family in Chicago, Hoffman Estates, Illinois, West Des Moines, Iowa and Canyon, Texas.  Patty was an avid quilter, homemaker, gardener and cook.  She enjoyed spending time on Facebook “keeping up” with her grandchildren and attending their symphony, dance and sporting events. Patty is survived by her husband Larry of Canyon, her son Lowell Love and wife Nora of Amarillo, daughter Pamela Money and husband Tim of Amarillo, son Larry Bradley Love of San Antonio, Grandchildren Christa Love, Larry Love, Timothy Money and wife Kayla, McCall Money, Trey “Tiger” Money, Max Love, Ian Love and Alice Love, three Great Grandchildren: Autumn, Sylias and Devilynn, nieces Robin Love Campbell and Maya Evans of Chicago, and her best friend Ann Powell . She was preceded in death by her mother, and son Lorne Love. A family led funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 605 38th Street, Canyon Texas. Father Scott Raef will preside. Memorials may be made to the Amarillo Symphony Youth Orchestra or the St. Ann’s Parish Quilting Ministry.
