Obituary for NAPOLEON "NAP" ROYBAL

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 9 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Brooks Chapel. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 10 at the First Family Church in Amarillo with Rev. Billy D. Nickell and Rev. Freddie Richardson, officiating. Burial will follow at Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon. Nap was born on December 1, 1943 to the late Silviano and Sipriana Marquez Roybal in Yeso, New Mexico. He married the love of his life, Mary Guerrero, on June 29, 1963 in Muleshoe, Texas. He owned and operated Nap's Carpet. Nap loved his work and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mary; 5 children, Marjorie Monaghan and spouse, Diana, of Houston, Napoleon G. Roybal and wife, Jennifer, of Edmond, OK, David Roybal, Dan Roybal, both of Amarillo, and Nikki Bristow, of Canyon; 8 grandchildren, Dustin Monaghan, Lance Roybal, Brandon Roybal and wife, Lauren, Mandy Roybal, Angela Roybal, Brantley Bristow, Jeremiah Bristow, and Addyson Bristow; a great grandson, Myles Roybal; 3 brothers, Sylvester Roybal, Augustine Roybal, and Silviano Roybal; and numerous nieces and nephews.
