Michael Dale Huff, 63, passed away June 16, 2018 while enjoying life with his wife and family.  Celebration of life will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon with Pastor Duane Tracy officiating.  Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon. Michael was born to Wallace Huff and Patsy L. Williams Huff on July 9, 1954, the 3rd child in the family, in Canyon, TX.  He was raised in Amarillo and graduated from Caprock High School in 1972, and later attended WTAMU.  After working for Pioneer Natural Gas and the Oilfield, he went to work for WTAMU.  Michael’s love for family included being a family historian and devoted son, brother and husband.  He also loved fishing and traveling with a spirit of adventure.  Michael retired early to take care of his parents in their final days.  He was a great builder; he could draw plans and build anything from a home to a barn. He was preceded in death by his parents.  Survivors include his wife, Deborah; siblings, Linda Keefer, William Huff and wife, Margaret, and James Huff; he was blessed by many loving and caring nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law; and many wonderful extended family and friends.  A special heartfelt thank you to the wonderful nurses, doctors, and staff at Don & Sybil Harrington Cancer Center and BSA 8th floor.  You are all angels.  You made his life better and we will forever be thankful.
