Memorial Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at the North Ministry Center of Trinity Fellowship with Pastor John Love, officiating. Private interment at Dreamland Cemetery. Maxine Black was born on February 15, 1916 to Fleming and Flora Middleton in Haskell, Texas. She married Robert L. Black in 1936. Maxine grew up in Canyon and lived with her husband and children in Borger, Texas. She was a devoted wife and mother. Maxine was a prayer warrior for her family and friends. She is the last of her generation in the Middleton Family. She had a full abundant life. Maxine was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, three sisters and four brothers. Survivors include her three sons, Joe Black of Santa Rosa, CA, Larry Black and wife, Nedra of Abilene, TX, and Phil Black and wife, Rose of Abilene, TX; daughter, Julia Meier and husband, Glen of Amarillo, TX ; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.
