Obituary for MARY ANN KEELING

Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at Dreamland Cemetery. Memorial Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church of Canyon with Rev. Donna Johnston, associate pastor, and Kent Barnard officiating. Mrs. Keeling was born on February 27, 1928 in Canyon to Alfred and Renna Craig Bellah. She graduated from Canyon High School and attended West Texas State College. She married Tom Keeling in Canyon in 1950. He preceded her in death in 1994. She served on the Dreamland Cemetery Board and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the University Study Club and Delta Zeta Alumni. Her favorite times were attending any activities her children and grandchildren were involved in. From Little League baseball to piano, and all through their high school years, it didn"t matter what sport or activity, she would always be there. She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Katy Ann Keeling, in 1991, and two brothers, J.C. Bellah and Max Bellah. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Kate Huey, and husband, Jay, of Canyon; two sons, Scott Keeling, and wife, Karen, of Hereford, and Keith Keeling, and wife, Jan, of Canyon; one sister, Renna Beth Barnard, of Canyon; one brother, Bob Bellah, of Lubbock; eight grandchildren, Mandy Howell, of College Station, Shawn and Kristy Keeling, both of Canyon; Tyler, Levi, and Thomas Keeling, all of Hereford, and Samantha and Bret Huey, of Canyon; and one great grandchild, Sawyer Howell, of College Station. The family suggests memorials be to Dreamland Cemetery, PO Box 38, Canyon, Texas 79015; First United Methodist Church, 1818 4th Avenue, Canyon, Texas 79015; or Nazarene Christian Academy, 1410 La Plata, Hereford, Texas 79045.
