Ruth "Lynell" Andrews, 81, of Happy died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in Happy. Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 6 at Happy’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tom Stribling, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Happy, officiating. Burial will be in Happy Cemetery. Mrs. Andrews was a 75 year resident of Happy. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Happy Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She retired from West Texas A&M University of Canyon as a communications operator. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Billy F. Andrews, in 2013. Survivors include her son, Billy D. Andrews and wife, Ruth of Happy; daughter, Pam Williams and husband, Jimmy of Pampa; brother, Henry N. Knox and wife, Janie of Fort Garland, CO; sister, Lucille Robinson of Canyon; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
