Lucille Crawford, 84, of Canyon, died Monday, December 31, 2001. MEMORIAL SERVICES will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 4, 2002 at the University Church of Christ with David Lough, minister, officiating. Lucille Crawford was born on September 4, 1917 at Turner, Montana to Jack and Allie Duncan Glover. She moved to Texas at age five and graduated from Littlefield High School in 1935. She married Harry Crawford on November 16, 1944 at Amarillo and they lived in Artesia, NM for forty years before moving to Canyon in 1998. She was a member of the University Church of Christ. She is survived by a daughter, Tricia White, of Pittsfield, MA; four brothers, Cephas Glover, of Littlefield, Bennie Glover, of Clovis, NM, Boyd Glover, of Canyon, and Raymond Glover,of Salem, OR; one sister, Pat Smith, of Canyon; and two grandchildren, Jennifer and Kimberly White, of Pittsfield, MA. The family suggests memorials be to the High Plains Childrens Home PO Box 7448 Amarillo, TX 79114-9990 or your favorite charity.
