Memorial service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. Gene Jones, associate pastor of First Baptist Church of Canyon, officiating. Louise Hall was born on July 22, 1926 in Seagraves to Rev. PT Haynes and Lella Warren Haynes. She graduated from Raymondville High School and attended the University of Texas. She married George V. Hall on February 21 1948, and he preceded her in death in 1987. She attended Freedom Fellowship Church and loved to volunteer in the public schools with Big Brothers and Big Sisters as a tutor. Louise enjoyed spending time with her family. She was also preceded in death by her grandson-in-law, John Scott Porter, three sisters, and two brothers. Survivors include four sisters, Blanche Crossman and husband, Bill, Gladys Wiebelt, Carol Gates and husband, Ed, and Ann Wright; two sons, Dan Hall and wife, Margaret and John Hall; and two grandchildren, Dani Porter and Michael Hall. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Freedom Fellowship Church, 55 Hunsley Road, Canyon, TX 79015, or to Canyon Senior Citizens, 1719 5th Avenue, Canyon, Texas 79015.
