The service will be on Friday, July 15, 2005 at 2:00 P.M., at Trinity Methodist Church in Amarillo, with the Rev. Scott Richards, pastor, officiating. The burial will be at Dreamland Cemetery. LouElla Knox was born on August 11, 1929 to Paul and Gladys Pitt in Claude, Texas. She graduated WT High in Canyon, and then she graduated from Draughns Business College, in Amarillo. She married Cloys Knox in 1947, in Canyon, they have been sweethearts for 58 years. She was a devoted employee of Amarillo National Bank for 35 years. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Amarillo. She is preceded in death by 2 brothers LeRoy Pitt and Merle Pitt. She is survived by her husband Cloys Knox, of the home; one brother Cecil Pitt and his wife Peggy, of Palestine, Texas; three sisters Lola Stevens and her husband Roy Joe, of Pagosa Springs, Colo., Jean Wells and her husband Wilbur, of Tempe, AZ, and Wilda Greenfield and her husband H.J., of Plano, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
