Obituary for L. C. ROBINSON

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 20 at South Georgia Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Miller, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, February 20 at Panhandle Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 19 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Brooks Chapel. L.C. Robinson was born May 20, 1921 in Mount Pleasant, Texas to Luther Calvin Robinson and Era Matilda Black. He enjoyed farming, which is what he did while raising his family west of Amarillo, and he later enjoyed raising a vegetable garden. Dancing and talking is what he loved the most. L.C. was very proud of his kids and grand kids. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; two sisters; twin infant sons, George and William, and another son, Calvin. A special thanks to Canyon Healthcare and Hospice Care of the Southwest for taking such great care of L.C. Survivors include his wife, Gladys, of Odessa; three daughters, Annette Crowell and husband, Mike, of Claude, Marilyn Tarbet and husband, Paul, of Amarillo, Vonita Williams and husband, James; five sons, Richard Robinson and wife, Mary, of Panhandle, Larry Robinson and wife, Sherry, of Amarillo, Wayne Robinson and wife, Edythe, of Amarillo, Garre Robinson and wife, Lisa, of Canyon, Tony Robinson and wife, Melany, of Amarillo; daughter-in-law, Marian Gehring, of Amarillo; the mother of his children, Vera Crowell, of Canyon; twenty five grandchildren; and twenty one great grandchildren.
