Services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 18 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. David L. Lowrie, Jr., pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be 3:00 Thursday, at Memorial Heights Cemetery in Lefors, Texas. Kenneth "Ken" Wayne Prestidge was born September 21, 1953 at Fort Rucker, Alabama to Carroll and Margie Prestidge. He married Beverly Rathbun on February 19, 1994 in Clarendon, Texas. He graduated from Lefors High School in 1972. He received his bachelor"s degree from WTAMU in 2000. He was the previous owner and operator of a backhoe service in Gray County for numerous years. He was currently employed as maintenance supervisor for TX DOT in Canyon for the past 17 years. Ken was a Christian, being a member of the First Baptist Church in Lefors. Ken was a fun loving husband, son, father, and Papa. All of his older grand kids loved riding on Ken"s Harley Davidson with their Papa. Ken"s family always came first with him. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter. Ken is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; mother, Margie Prestidge, of Canyon; father, Carroll Prestidge, of Kerrville; daughters, Ashley Fronterhouse, of Canyon, Cpl. Niki Baldwin and husband, Sean, of Camp Lejune, NC; son, Shawn Prestidge, of Canyon; four granddaughters; two grandsons; and brother, David Prestidge, of Paradise, TX.
