Obituary for KENNETH ELMORE DUNCAN

Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at the University Church of Christ with Tom Monroe, Don Duncan, and Mike Monroe, officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Brooks Chapel. Burial will follow at Dreamland Cemetery. Kenneth Elmore Duncan was born on March 1, 1919 to James Ezra Duncan and Edna Etheridge in Harmon County, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII from 1942 until 1946. He was employed by Imperial Chevrolet in Canyon for a number of years and was self-employed in the trucking business. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jennings Duncan in 2004. Survivors include three brothers, James Duncan and wife, Lynn of Amarillo, John Duncan and wife, Jan of Amarillo, and Donald Duncan and wife, Diane of Longview; four sisters, Sharon Duncan-Ratliff of Canyon, Jane Tarrab of Amarillo, and June McEntire of San Antonio and Carol Monroe and husband, Tom of Amarillo; daughter, Lorna Anderson and husband, Bill of Canyon, and one grandson, Dr. Craig Cooley of Buffalo, NY.
