Services are scheduled for 11:00 Monday, December 10, 2007 at Brooks Chapel with Pastor John Love, minister of Trinity Fellowship, officiating. Joseph Bair Forman was born on September 12, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri to Meyer and Fanny Feingold Forman. Joseph was a veteran of the US Army and served as a medic in WWII. He grew up in New York, then established himself in Philadelphia, and eventually made Houston his home. While in Houston he started one of the first home security businesses in the U.S. After his children were grown he returned to Philadelphia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce, his parents, and a sister. Survivors include his children, Brian Forman and wife, Nancy, of Philadelphia, Margaret Forman, of Nashville, Erica Grimes and husband, Edward, of Canyon, Michael Forman and wife, Dawn,of Austin, Andy Forman and wife, Nannette, of Canyon; grandchildren, Lee, Lindsay, Lance, Bair, Baxter, Bailey, Blaze, Caleb, Hannah, and Noah; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be sent to a favorite charity.
