Obituary for Jesse Garcia
Jesse Garcia, 46, of Canyon, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon with pastor Jordan Kreisle officiating. Burial will follow in Dreamland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Brooks Chapel.
Jesse was born on July 3, 1975 in Owatonna, MN to Esteban and Conception (Reyes) Garcia, Jr. He spent his life working with horses and was skilled at breaking and training them. After being together since 1992, he married Rosie Rodriguez on January 30, 1995. He thoroughly enjoyed the experience of trying foods at different restaurants. He also enjoyed drawing, leatherworking and woodworking, but his greatest love was spoiling his grandchildren. Jesse was a member of HIS Church and volunteered at Snack Pak 4 Kids.
His boys will lovingly remember him for his quotes, especially, “Cowboy up and don’t weaken!”
Survivors include his wife, Rosie Garcia of Canyon; four sons, Zackery Garcia, Pedro Garcia, Jonathan Garcia, and Jesse Garcia, Jr., all of Canyon; five grandchildren, Bentley, Hudsen, Caroline, Jonah, and Dax; three sisters; and two brothers.
