Obituary for Jared Blaine Pedigo
Jared Blaine Pedigo, 37, of Amarillo, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023.
Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 3, 2023 at Hillside Christian Church Chapel, 6100 S. Soncy in Amarillo.
Jared was born on March 1, 1985 in Mesa, Arizona to Ralph Lester Pedigo and Lisa Lynn (White) Pedigo. He was raised in Amarillo and was a 2003 graduate of Randall High School. He received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Texas A&M University, and while attending WTAMU, Jared was one of four students selected to successfully re-design the prosthetic hand model for the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
Jared was previously employed at Pantex where he worked as Senior Associate Engineer, CNS. He was also a certified private pilot.
Jared was passionate about music and was a gifted musician and songwriter. He loved spending time creating music with his friends, but also enjoyed and was very talented at writing songs. Jared gave his life to Christ and had a very real and personal relationship with God. He was strong in his faith, believing that when he found God, he found the truth.
Jared is preceded in death by a son, Kaiden Jared Pedigo. Survivors include two sons, Rylan Blaine Pedigo and Cason Allen Pedigo; his parents, Lisa Pedigo Medina and Ralph Pedigo; sister, Megan Cherry and husband, Ronnie, and their children, Owen and Olivia; brother, Brady Pedigo; as well as other extended family members.
