Memorial services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Rev. Phu Phan, celebrant, officiating. Rosary will be 7:00 P.M. Monday, July 26 at Brooks Chapel. Private Interment Janet Elaine Dietz was born in Canyon, Texas to John and Betty Dietz on September 7, 1947. She was a graduate of St. Mary Academy and attended WT State University. She was previously employed by First National Bank of Canyon, and later by J's Country Store on McCormick Rd. Janet bravely battled cancer for a number of years which led her to some of her most rewarding relationships with support group, Princess Warriors. In addition to Princess Warriors, Jan deeply loved her family including her pet, Mr. McCormick. Jan was preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Knight. Survivors include her parents; a brother, John Dietz and wife, Anne, of Portland, TX; nephews, Marcus Knight, Ben Dietz, and John Oliver Gorrell; nieces, Stephanie Lyle, Anaise Knight, Kristi Holbrook, and Stephanie Henderson; and many great nieces and nephews.
