Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 26, 2006 at the First Baptist Church of Canyon with Dr. David Lowrie, pastor, officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 25, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Brooks Funeral Directors. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Janenne L. Davis was born on September 21, 1939 to Claude and Louise Lyles. She went to school in Amarillo. She married Russell Early in Amarillo and they had two sons, Rusty and Wayne. In 1992 she married Ervin Davis and they resided on the family farm southwest of Canyon until her death. She enjoyed china painting and egg decorating and received many awards. She loved her family. She enjoyed table games and was a member of an 88 Club for many years. She also loved square dancing and traveling and took many enjoyable trips. She enjoyed working with the cattle and doing farm chores. She was a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church for many years and later became a member of the First Baptist Church of Canyon where she attended the Adult One Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Ervin Davis, of the home; two sons, Rusty Early and wife, Stephanie, of Miami, Texas and Wayne Early, of Canyon; stepdaughter, Ronda Huskey, and husband, Skip, of Canyon; two brothers, Jerry Lyles and wife, Joann, of San Marcos, CA, and Ronnie Lyles and wife, Brenda, of Amarillo; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The family requests memorials be to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 1717 4th Avenue, Canyon, Texas 79015.
