Obituary for Imogene J. Lance Dillinger
Imogene J. Lance Dillinger, 91, of Happy, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022. Graveside services we be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Floyd County Memorial Park Cemetery in Floydada with Rick Bloodworth officiating. Viewing will be at Brooks Chapel in Canyon and the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon.
Imogene was born on August 31, 1931 in Mountain Home, Arkansas to Lindsey Earnest and Katherine Margaret (Kasinger) Lance. She married Cody William Dillinger on March 14, 1950 in Clovis, New Mexico, and he preceded her in death on April 8, 2002. Imogene was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Imogene was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Dianna Dillinger Owens, three sisters, Eulah Roberts, Lena Kytle, and Virgie Smith, one brother, Clyde Lance, and three nephews, Clyde Lance, Jr., Larry Dale Roberts, and Dave Roberts.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathryn J. Himes and husband, S. D. of Amarillo; her son, William (Bill) Dillinger of Happy; five grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
