Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, August 9, 2004 at the First Baptist Church in San Antonio, with Rev. Don Guthrie, pastor, officiating. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 12, 2004 at the First Baptist Church of Canyon. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon. Mr. Prichard was born on February 23, 1929 in Canyon, Texas to Willie Jay and Tommye Hefner Prichard. He married Ruth Sharpley on June 22, 1952 in Canyon. He was retired from insurance and retired as Command Sergeant-Major of the Texas National Guard. Survivors include his wife, Ruth, of the home; four sons, Larry Prichard, and wife, Lynn, of Dallas, Ben Prichard, and wife, Gina, of Alvin, Frank Prichard, of Amarillo, and Ted Prichard, of San Antonio; and two granddaughters, Samantha and Jordon Prichard, of Alvin. The family suggests memorials be to the First Baptist Church, Television Evangelism Program, 515 McCullough St., San Antonio, Texas 78215-2199.
