Obituary for GLENNIS WATSON

Glennis Watson was born on March 27, 1928 at Canton, Oklahoma to Clarence and Iva Escoe. She married Nathan Watson on July 20, 1946 at Amarillo, Texas. She has been a resident of Canyon for over fifty years and owned and operated Sunset Beauty Shop in Canyon. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Canyon. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Nathan Ann Payne. Survivors include her husband, Nathan, of Canyon; two daughters, Lynn Andrews, of Hereford and Terri Heaster, of Amarillo; three sons-in-law, Henry Payne, of Amarillo, Mark Andrews, of Hereford, and Doug Heaster, of Amarillo; two sisters, Bernice McDanel, of Wellington, and Lorrene Carr, of Borger; four grandchildren, Janet Anthony, Natalie Sanderson, Shanna Carver, and Courtney Heaster; The family suggests memorials be to the Crown of Texas Hospice 1000 S. Jefferson Amarillo, TX 79101 or to the American Cancer Society 3915 Bell St. Amarillo, TX 79109.
