Obituary for FLOYD KISER

Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Dale Jones officiating. Floyd Kiser was born on March 11, 1944 to Floyd T. And Inez Drennan Harding Kiser. He was a graduate of Canyon High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving three terms in Viet Nam. After the military he worked as an electrician. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Canyon and the VFW. He resided in Oklahoma City and spent the last several years in Carrizozo, NM. While in Carrizozo, he helped design and build a veteran"s memorial park. He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin sister, Elaine Stovall, and a brother, Edwin Kiser. He is survived by two sisters, Korene Walker and husband, Frank, of Carrizozo, NM, and Sue James, of Wakita, Oklahoma; one daughter, Janie; two grandsons, Michael and Anthony; four nieces and one nephew. The family suggests memorials to Disabled American Veterans.
