A memorial service for Fay will be at the Canyon Hills Church of Christ, at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 23. Funeral arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon. Private Interment will take place at Dreamland Cemetery. Fay Meadows, age 93, of McKinney, Texas and formerly of Canyon and Amarillo, Texas passed away June 21, 2007 at her daughter"s home. She was born in 1914 in Taylor County, Texas to J. E. and Pearl Allen. She graduated from Littlefield High School and attended Gunter College in Littlefield. She was a devout Christian and faithful member of the Church of Christ and a devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Lee Meadows , sons Brion and Ray, son-in-law Bill Tisdale and three grandchildren; Sondra Lacy Williams, Philip Meadows, and Michael Meadows. She is survived by daughter Ava Lacy and husband Don of Richardson, Texas; daughter Yvonne Walton and husband B R of McKinney; daughter Joan Tisdale of Amarillo. Surviving grandchildren: Danae" Bush, Tabitha Foster, Kenny Tisdale, Denise Hand, Marilyn Meadows, Curtis Meadows , Donna Frombach, and fourteen great grandchildren. Fay is also survived by her brother, Travis Allen of Centennial, Colorado, and sister, Omega Gilstrap of Littlefield, Texas.
