Obituary for Ewing Lee "Brush" Clayton

Ewing Lee Clayton, fondly known as “Brush”, 78, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at home with his wife by his side.

Ewing Lee Clayton was born April 16, 1942 in Arapaho, Oklahoma to Tommy and Helen Clayton. He married Shirley Platt in Canyon on August 23, 1969. He retired from the WTAMU Boiler Plant on March 1, 2006. His son, Kip, was his proudest accomplishment. He loved watching Kip and his friends rope.

If you ever met Brush, you remembered him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jeanette Head.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley; son, Kip Clayton and wife, Liz; granddaughter, Magoo; brother, Phil Clayton and wife, Sue; a sister, Laressa Willingham and husband, Willie; and several nieces and nephews.
