Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Canyon First Assembly of God Church, with Rev. David Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Evelyn Crowley was born June 1, 1928 in Canyon to Hubert and Vera Miller Ridley. She received her Bachelor"s degree in Education from West Texas State Normal College. She married Joe Grady Crowley in Clovis, NM in 1953. She taught school in Carlsbad, NM and was church secretary at Canyon First Assembly of God for 21 years. Evelyn loved her grandkids and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993, and her brother, Hubert Ridley, Jr. Survivors include four daughters, Joelyn Brooks, of Canyon, Patty Crowley, of Amarillo, Penny Hammack and husband, Jimmie, of Caddo Mills, and Kay Hamby and husband, Tonny, of Canadian; son, Johnny Crowley and wife, Amy, of Amarillo; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a sister Patsy Maxwell, of Dumas. The family suggests memorials be to Canyon First Assembly of God Church, 2318 13th Ave. Canyon, TX 79015, or Canyon Meals on Wheels, 2626 13th Ave. Canyon, TX 79015.
