Obituary for Elizabeth Carollyn 'Beth' Schaefer
Elizabeth Carollyn ‘Beth’ Schaefer, 33, of Canyon, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Memorial services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Christian Heritage Church in Amarillo with Pastor Craig Lawlis officiating. Private interment will be in Dreamland Cemetery.
Elizabeth was born on October 2, 1988 in Ballston Spa, NY to Randall and Sharon (Ernst) Schaefer and finished high school in Cottonwood, AZ. She was a food and beverage manager and was also a beautician. Elizabeth loved being a mother and loved her little girl, Raelynn, immensely. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and vacationing in Red River while attending the Red River Memorial Motorcycle Rally. She also enjoyed crocheting and flowers.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, her grandparents, great-grandparents, two nephews, and a niece. Survivors include her daughter, Raelynn Elizabeth Schaefer; her mother, Sharon Schaefer; six siblings, Tammy Criswell of Erie, PA, Kristopher Schaefer of Canyon, Heather Hankins of Johnstown, CO, Eric Coppinger and wife, Kathryn of Amarillo, Kevin Schaefer of Gastonia, NC, and Serena Brawley and husband, Brett of Cottonwood, AZ; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Because Elizabeth faithfully supported Toys for Tots, the family suggests memorials be to Toys for Tots or to Christian Heritage Church, 900 S. Nelson St., Amarillo, TX 79104.
