Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at St. Mary"s Catholic Church in Umbarger with Rev. Dr. A. Moses Kallarackal officiating, assisted by Deacon Bill Dorsey. Rosary will be held at Brooks Chapel on Friday, October 12, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. with Deacon Bill Dorsey officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary"s Catholic Cemetery. Earnest Albert Stocker was born on January 12, 1916 in Umbarger, Texas to Leopold and Sabina Friemel Stocker. He married Frankie Lois Stocker on December 31, 1939 in Amarillo. She preceded him in death on July 3, 2006. Mr. Stocker was a Gold Star Parent and a member of Knights of Columbus, Umbarger Volunteer Fire Department, and Umbarger Senior Citizens. He was also preceded in death by one son, Daniel Leo Stocker, five sisters, one brother, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Survivors include five sons, Eugene Stocker, of Krum, TX, William Stocker, of Canyon, Charles Stocker, of Umbarger, Glen Stocker, of Canyon, and Jeffrey Stocker, of Umbarger; three daughters, DeAnna Stocker (Magera), of Afton, TX, Aline Stocker, of Amarillo, and Frances Dorsey, of Canyon; two sisters, Lorene Arko, of Eagle Nest, NM and Alice Flies, of Mangum, OK; twenty-five grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
