She is survived by her husband, David Thompson of Canyon; daughters, Kassandra Garrett and husband Shawn of  Virginia, Vanessa Hodges of Canyon and Kindra Fletcher and husband Gary of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Garrett Hodges, Kaitlyn Cothren, Austin Hodges, MacKenzie Hodges, Michael Willis, and Gary Fletcher III; a great grandson, Jaxton Johnson; step-father, Carl S. Jones of Amarillo; brother, Danny Waugh of Lubbock; sister, Joyce Brown of Wylie; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews. Drenda was loved by all who knew her! The greatest prayer warrior and her prayers would immediately put you in the presence of the Lord. She will be missed for sure but now she is conversing with Jesus !!
