Obituary for DORIS BUSHEY

Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 9 at St. Ann"s Catholic Church with Msgr. Phu Phan, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 8 at Brooks Chapel. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo. Doris "Gi Gi" Bushey was born May 27, 1919 in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Joseph and Lillian Pinchard. In July of 1937, she married Kenneth Bushey at Green Bay, Wisconsin. In 1998, she moved from Salina, Kansas to Canyon, Texas, where she was a member of St. Ann"s Catholic Church. Doris loved to go bowling and fishing, but what she loved most of all were her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth, a sister, June West, a great granddaughter, Taylor Wodaszewski, and a son-in-law, Ray Wodaszewski. Survivors include her two sons, Ronald John "Jack" Bushey and wife, Jan, of Lakewood, CA, Gordon L. Bushey and wife, Ree, of Ladera Ranch, CA; two daughters, Pam Millet and husband, Bob, of Canyon, Judy Stangel and husband, Mike, of Salina, Kansas; sister, Lorrine Maccaux, of Medford, Oregon; six granddaughters, Lisa, Stepheny, Stacey, Michelle, Cindy, and Laurlie; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
