Obituary for Dennis Weeg
Dennis Weeg, 67, of Canyon, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Memorial services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, October 15, 2021 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with Father Scott Raef as Celebrant. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. A Vigil will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon with Deacon Gabe Rivas officiating.
Dennis was born on May 20, 1954 in Milbank, SD to Clarence and Elnora (Goeman) Weeg. He married Regina Fetsch on April 25, 1975 in Hereford and they moved to Canyon soon after. He worked at Big T Pump in Hereford intermittently for twenty years and then worked for over twenty years as owner/operator at Timeline Inc. Trucking in Canyon. Dennis loved carpentry and was a carpenter in the Canyon area. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, serving actively in the past for many years. He loved fishing and his most recent hobby was collecting and working with antique equipment.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Regina Weeg of Canyon; his daughter, Yvonne Campbell and husband, Steven of Vega; his son, Neal Weeg and wife, Billie Jo of Faribault, MN; five grandchildren, Cora and Aiden Campbell, and Nevaeh, Braxton, and Johann Weeg; sister, Carol Halverson of Milbank, SD; and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews that he loved dearly.
