The family will receive visitors from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, August 26, 2010, at Brooks Funeral Home in Canyon. Interment services will follow at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo, Texas. Danica Bowles was granted her angel wings on August 21, 2010 at the all too young age of twenty two months. She was born October 28, 2008 in Amarillo, Texas to Tasha Warden and Joshua Bowles. With broken hearts, we miss her greatly. Twenty two months was not enough time for Danica to share all the love in her heart. Danica was a typical toddler, she loved to play, swim, and loved to eat, often robbing food from her twin"s plate. When she was a baby, she had a bald head, pale skin and a pudgy belly earning her the nickname "Buddha". Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends touched throughout her short, yet very memorable life. Her gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around her. With Danica"s passing we remind others that her life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss her everyday, especially that beautiful smile and sparkling blue eyes, she will remain forever in our hearts. Through her teachings about life, we were able to create wonderful memories and it has been a privilege to be her parents. We are so thankful Danica"s siblings had their sister and they will hold dear the memory of Danica"s gentle spirit. Danica was preceded in death by her maternal great grandmother, Mary Hallman, and her parental great grandmother, Velma Hughes. Survivors include parents, Tasha Warden and Josh Bowles, of Amarillo; three sisters, her twin Mackinzie Donell Bowles, Ariel Bowles, of the home, and Savannah Dwight, of Amarillo; two brothers, Adam Jella and Christopher Jella, of the home; parental grandparents Karen Hughes, of Canyon, and Jim and Leonna Williams, of Amarillo; maternal grandparents, Paula and Jack Owen, of Amarillo; great grandparents, Ronnie Hallman, of Dallas, and Pete Hughes, of Pampa; Aunt Chrissa Bowles, of Canyon, Uncle Marcus Story, and wife Tosha, Nicci Pool, of Amarillo, and Great Aunt Pam Best, of Canyon; cousins Jacey Kilburn, of Canyon, and Brooklynne Story, of Amarillo.
