Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at St. Ann"s Catholic Church with Rev. Phu Phan officiating. Rosary will be 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at Brooks Chapel with Deacon Gabe Rivas officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Consuelo Hernandez was born on May 30, 1919 in Charlotte, Texas to Refugio and Filomena Hernandez Rodriguez. She was the last of eleven children. She married Aniceto M. Hernandez in Amarillo in 1936 and they moved to Canyon in 1939. She worked at Amarillo Air Force Base during WWII. She was a member of St. Ann"s Catholic Church. She was a good mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Aniceto Hernandez, Jr., two sons-in-law, Fred Aragon and Edward Oberbrockling, and one daughter-in-law, Teri Hernandez. Survivors include her children, Nancy Aragon, of Canyon, Richard Hernandez and wife, Sue, of Ft. Worth, Dora Oberbrockling, of Hollywood, FL, Pete Hernandez and wife, Helen, of Canyon, R. David Hernandez and wife, Sandra, of San Antonio, and Isabel Barraza and husband, Rey, of Lubbock; sixteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, and eleven great, great grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be sent to St. Ann"s Catholic Church, 605 38th St., Canyon, TX 79015.
