Obituary for CLYDE HANCOCK

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Happy Community Center with Rev. Tom Stribling, minister of First Methodist Church of Happy, officiating. Military honors are provided by Volleys for Veterans. Burial will be in Happy Cemetery, Happy, Texas. Clyde Hancock was born on July 25, 1926 in Randall County to Carroll and Audrey Lee Markham Hancock. He graduated from Happy High School and farmed and ranched in Happy for many years. He married June Ratjen in 1947, and she preceded him in death in 1998. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Clyde was a long time Mason and a member of the Canyon City Masonic Lodge #730. He was also a member of the First Methodist Church of Happy. Survivors include his family, Mary Lou Hancock and Jimmy McKown, Betty Hobgood, Charlotte Morris, Billye Waldron, Bettie Everitt, Carollee Waters, Deloris Hancock, Sue Lilley and numerous nieces and nephews.
