Obituary for CLARENCE HULEY ADAMS

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, June 26, 2006 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. Ty Jones, senior pastor, Cowboy Church and the Arena of Life, officiating. Clarence Huley Adams was born in Spur, Texas to Mavis Joy Day Adams & Deward Adams, Sr. on January 18, 1952. He graduated from Dimmitt High School in 1970 and served 4 years in the U. S. Army. He married Katherine Pauline Mitchell Gordon on October 8, 1983 in Tulia, Texas and was employed at Randall County Feedyard as the night-watchman for the last 16 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Michael Deshane Adams. Survivors include his wife, Katherine, of the home; one stepdaughter, Mary Catherine Gordon, of Cleveland, TN; three brothers, Deward Adams, of Amarillo, Don Adams, of Happy, and Johnnie Adams, of Lubbock; three sisters, Betty Rush, of Canyon, Dinah Wyckoff, of Amarillo, and Mary Galloway, of Tulia; five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
