Obituary for Chad Noel

Chad Noel, 47, of Happy, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022. Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon with Rick Lopez officiating. Burial will be at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday in Claude Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon.

Chad was born on October 22, 1974 in Tulia to Jo Ed Noel and Peggy Jeanne Harris.

Chad never met a stranger and loved visiting with people, most often introducing himself as Walker, Texas Ranger. He was very artistic and enjoyed drawing and singing, mostly Christian and Christmas music. He loved watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. He also loved raising his chickens and especially loved his dog, Ester.

Chad was a very special person and could light up any room. He was well loved by all who knew him. His family always thought of him as their ‘angel on earth’ and are comforted by knowing he is now their ‘angel in heaven’.

Chad was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Guthrie, his sister, Jennifer Runyon Houk, grandparents, Imogene and Fred Harris, MaMa and PaPa Noel, and an aunt, Melody Harris.

Survivors include his sister who adored him, Leigh Schulte; niece, Jade Schulte and son, Zayden Juarez; niece, Jori Wells and husband, Luke, and their children, Byntleigh, Whatley, and Jameson; nephew, Seth Schulte; niece, Victoria Houk and her children, Raylen and Hendrick Tucker; nephew, Triston Steffens; aunts and uncles, Jack and Shelly Fields, Mitch and Polly Chester, and Rodney Harris; special cousin, Jeb Harris, as well as several other cousins; and many friends who loved him dearly.

The family suggests memorials be to Camp New Dawn % Ceta Canyon, 37201 FM 1721, Happy, Texas 79042.
