Services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Happy. Rosary will be held at 6:30 P.M. on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Happy"s Memorial Chapel. Viewing will be at Brooks Chapel in Canyon on Monday and Happy"s Memorial Chapel on Tuesday. Burial will be in Happy Cemetery, Happy, Texas. Caroline Dietz was born on June 3, 1932 to Adolph and Rose Schulte. She married James Dietz on August 28, 1951 and they just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. She worked at Lloyd"s Auto, Happy ISD Cafeteria, and then at West Texas A&M for twenty years. She was president of the Altar Society and taught religion classes at Holy Name Catholic Church to elementary school children. She was preceded in death by three granddaughters, Jaci Barrett, Lena Waldenmayer, and Julie Barrett Weise, her parents, two brothers, Hubert and Gerald Schulte, and two sisters, Marcella Schulte and Mildred Callas. Survivors include her husband, James Dietz, of Happy; four daughters, Sandra Beebe and husband, Dennis, of Amarillo, Sharen Winters and husband, Gary, of Borger, Brenda Barrett and husband, Gary, of Canyon, and Debbie Waldenmayer and husband, Don, of Lubbock; two sons, Keith Dietz and wife, Lisa, of Canyon, and Stanley Dietz, of Talihina, OK; two sisters, Betty Lou Sharp, of Boise, ID, and Rosella Curry, of Amarillo; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
