Obituary for Brian Scott Davis
Brian Scott Davis, 66, of Amarillo, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023. Services will be at 2:30 P.M. on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon with Pastor David Gadberry, lead pastor, Summit Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Dreamland Cemetery.
Brian was born on June 12, 1956 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to James Scott and Opal Irene (Thompson) Davis. He was a 1975 graduate of Northbrook High School in Houston. Brian married Teri Witt on December 8, 1984 in Perryton. He worked at United Grocery store in Perryton as a sacker and stocker and loved everyone he met. Because of a disability, he was forced to retire in 1998.
Brian was a wonderful husband and dearly loved his two pups, Annie Marie and Charlie Brown. He enjoyed WWE wrestling and the Dallas Cowboys. Brian was a very sensitive and loving man.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Scott and Opal Davis, his father and mother-in-law, Jim and Betty Witt, and an aunt, Eva Meller. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Teri Davis, and several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
The family suggests memorials be to the American Heart Association, PO Box 841125, Dallas, Texas 75284 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 52405, Amarillo, Texas 79109.
