Beverly was born April 13, 1944 in Houston to Kenneth and Ruth Anne Peck.  She graduated from Edna High School in 1962.  Beverly received her B.S. and M.Ed. degrees from West Texas State University where she was a member and officer of Delta Zeta Sorority.    On May 24, 1969, Beverly married the love of her life, AJ Peters.  They both taught school in Edna ISD and in 1971, they moved to Canyon.  She taught Special Education in Amarillo ISD at Olsen Park Elementary for 26 years, retiring in 1997.  She also owned Heritage Antiques in Canyon with her parents, and she and AJ owned Peters’ Rental Properties. After retiring, Beverly planned and escorted bus tours across the nation for senior citizens with AJ driving the bus.  On the tours she made many wonderful friends which was the highlight of her life.  She and AJ traveled extensively, taking many personal trips as well. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Canyon and the Bible Searchers Sunday School Class.  She enjoyed visiting senior citizens and shut-ins.  Beverly loved the Lord with all her heart. My mother Christine always enjoyed both AJ and Beverly, and the trips on the bus.  She remembers when AJ would pick her up at her home in the bus since they lived down the street.  Beverly was a great person in mom's life.
