Obituary for Beverly Helen Pennucci
Beverly Helen Pennucci, 78, of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 7, 2023 at Power Church in Amarillo with Pastor Manny DeLosSantos officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 6 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Brooks Chapel in Canyon.
Beverly was born January 16, 1945 in Beacon, New York to Angelo and Mary (Buell) Pennucci.
In her younger days, she enjoyed riding horses and motorcycles. After attending Dutchess community college, she began work as a social worker and was active in volunteering in her community. Beverly loved her children and grandchildren dearly and family gatherings were something she cherished. She had the biggest heart and was always so kind to others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Angelo and Mary Pennucci, her sister, Regina Slater, and her very best friend, Corine Lucero.
Those left to cherish her memories include her son, Michael Shepherd and wife, Melissa; daughters, Tiffany Shepherd and husband, Gabriel Swartz, and Christian Corliss; seven grandchildren, Anthony, Scott, Jaiden, Grayson, Jace, Brady, and Liam; siblings, Joann Schuder, Linda Pennucci, and Michael Pennucci; nieces nephews and many friends. Beverly was loved by so many and will be missed dearly. Although she is gone, she will forever be in our hearts.
