Services will be 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Happy, TX with Father Ed Sweeney, officiating. Burial will follow at Happy Cemetery in Happy, TX. Rosary will be 7:00 P.M. on Friday, September 7, 2007 at Happy Memorial Chapel in Happy, TX. Bernett Huseman Johnson was born on December 31, 1919. She grew up in Nazareth, TX and attended Nazareth schools. She moved to Happy with her family in 1935. She and Arch Johnson married April 24, 1942 at St. Joseph"s church in New Orleans, LA. Bernett worked in Happy Public School cafeteria for 25 years and served as a manager. She was a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Happy. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arch, her parents Joe and Pauline Huseman, her sister, Evelyn Uselding and her brother, Ralph Huseman. Survivor includes her two sons, Bill Johnson and wife, Mary of Happy and Joe Johnson and wife, Jeanette of Nazareth; daughter, Janice Crosby and husband, Ivan of Tulia; nine grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; sister in law, Bernice Jennings; two brothers in law, Cone Johnson and Reggie Johnson and wife, Connie; numerous nieces and nephews.
