Obituary for Barbara Denise Newkirk
Barbara Denise Newkirk, 67, of Euless, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023. Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon with Gene Jones officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery.
Barbara was born on November 22, 1955 in Amarillo to Gerard and Katherine (Yates) Bement. She graduated from Hirschi High School in Wichita Falls in 1973. She cherished family gatherings and holidays, Thanksgiving being her favorite.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Gerard William Bement, and a brother, Larry Steven Bement.
Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Stapleton and husband, Victor Noble of Euless; her mother and stepfather, Katherine and Gary Simpson of Whitewright; two grandchildren, Jillian Bransford and Brianna Touchette; one great granddaughter, Blakely; sister, Debrah Buchanan of Wichita Falls; brother, Greg Bement of Whitewright; and her much loved cat, Diamond.
