Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Canyon with Dr. David Lowrie, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in McAllen, Texas. Alene Inez Tracy Winburne was born on April 13, 1924 to Daniel Cleveland and Hattie Mae Parker Selman. She married Albert Tracy in Monterey, California in October 1942. He preceded her in death in August 1977. She then married Willie Winburne in Bryan, Texas in 1985. He preceded her in death in 1990. She was a grocery store clerk and a librarian assistant. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a faithful Sunday school and choir member. Alene was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers, Walter Selman, Joe Selman, Searcy Selman, Dana Selman, and Dewey Selman. Please sign the online guest registry at www.brooksfuneral.com.
