A Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Brooks Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 23, 2012 at St. Mary"s Catholic Church, with Rev. George Kalampatt, C.M.I., celebrant, and Deacon Bill Dorsey, officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary"s Catholic Cemetery. Adalla was born January 1, 1916, in Primrose, Nebraska to John G. And Mary Knust Batenhorst. She married Vincent Friemel on September 20, 1938, in Umbarger, Texas. She was a homemaker and a loving "Auntie" to her numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Mary"s Altar Society and Christian Mothers and sang in St. Mary"s choir for 25+ years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent; her parents; three brothers, Raymond, Leonard, and Sylvester Batenhorst; and a sister, Marie Vorwald. Survivors include her three sisters, Marcella Brandt, of Canyon, Elfrieda Reinart, of Hereford, and LaVerna Henscheid, of Marshfield, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
